Our Corporate Governance
The Board and Management of Circular Energy Group are committed to the highest standards of corporate governance.
They believe that, for the Company to achieve its vision as a leader in guiding businesses and communities towards a 24/7 sustainable energy commitment in Australia, it is necessary to meet the highest standards of sustainable quality and environmental impact, governance and business conduct across the Company’s operations.
Operational Standards
Operations within each business units within the Company are conducted in accordance with the laws and regulations of the various jurisdictions in Australia:
- Maximum Energy (now Circular Energy Group) has been assessed and met the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) for the provision of electrical and solar renewal solutions including consultancy, auditing, monitoring, project management and procurement.
- Maximum Energy is a certified as a signatory to the Solar Retailer Code of Conduct by the Clean Energy Council
- Maximum Energy is certified with a Cm3 Prequalification standard.
Advisory Board Committee
The Board of Directors of Circular Energy Group have secured a group of relevant industry experts who have been selected for their accomplished industry expertise and knowledge that will guide the Board of Directors on strategic directions that are backed by independent review with robust discussions prior to implementation. They bring a wealth of experience in areas such as legal and corporate strategy, ESG, policy and government, clean alternative fuels, and climate health.

Jed Durdin
Director and CEO
Jed is the co-founder, CEO and a Director of Circular Energy Group. Jed can be described as one of Australia’s up and coming cleantech entrepreneurs, representing South Australia’s young entrepreneurs as a Force Forty (top 40 under 40) member, as well working closely with government on developing scenarios and pathways for the journey to net-zero and green economy. Jed believes Australia can be the global leader in developing the energy system of the future; and not just regarding decarbonisation but also realising the social opportunities the energy transition will create, and he continues to work closely with government and influential bodies like the Smart Energy Council to make this goal a reality.
Jed is responsible for CEG’s strong partnership with the United Nations 24/7 Carbon-free Energy Compact and continues to work closely with them on accelerating the international adoption of 24/7 Sustainable Energy at both a government and business level.
Jed is responsible for developing the group’s strategy and execution, growing our business and developing strong partnerships with clients (private and government) and in the community.
Jed holds a diploma in Business Administration and is the creator of the 24/7 Sustainable Energy Commitment. Read less

Noon McNamara
Director and COO
Noon is the COO and a Director of Circular Energy Group. Noon has worked in the role of General Manager/2IC for Suntrix, Energy Exemplar, Centralian Controls and SCF Group. Noon also has extensive experience in delivering large rail infrastructure projects through her work at Pacific National/Asciano and as a Consultant at DPTI (SA rail revitalisation program). As the COO, Noon is responsible for the execution of the group’s operational plan, governance, management reporting systems, and staff management.
Noon’s qualifications included a Graduate of Company Directors (GAICD) from Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Adelaide & Aarhus Business School (Denmark), and a Bachelor Degree in Mathematical Science with Honours from the University of Adelaide.
Noon is currently on the Board of Director of Hutt Street Centre (homeless support centre) and was previously on the Board of Mary MacKillop Care SA (age care) and VitalStatistix (contemporary art). Read less

Rodd Beitmanas
Director and CEO
Rodd is the co-founder, CEO and a Director of Circular Energy Group. He has extensive experience in International and Australian business management in Operations, Commercial, Marketing, Sales and HR. Rodd has developed comprehensive knowledge and experience across a variety of disciplines and the delivery of major projects which have presented a range of challenges, solutions and opportunities. Rodd focuses on the strategic direction and establishment of Maximum Energy Retail Pty Ltd (trading as Circular Energy) which is a R&D and “Special Purpose Vehicle” used to facilitate the groups vision to allow customers to access the benefits of transitioning towards Sustainable Energy 24/7. Rodd is responsible for driving the growth of this business unit whilst safeguarding the strict compliance to regulatory requirements.
Rodd has developed a network of highly capable personnel within the industry to support and drive his key goal of bringing innovation to the energy industry to overall reduce energy costs.
Rodd holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce for Marketing and Management from Curtin University. Read less

The Hon. Corey Wingard
Policy and Government Engagement advisor
Corey spent the past decade in politics, the last 4 years as a Minister in the South Australian Government. Corey had the privilege of delivering $17.9 billion in Infrastructure projects for South Australia. Read more
He was accountability to treasury which saw him develop outstanding political and financial acumen as well as a corporate understanding around what is needed to deliver big projects for the state.
Prior to politics, Corey spent more than 20 years in the media giving him exceptional communication skills to help organisations gain social licence by engaging all stakeholders when delivering new projects to a broad community. Read less

Ian Lieblich
ESG and Legal advisor
Ian has a wide range of experience in climate change and responsible investment and is presently the Head of ESG at EG Funds. Ian sits on the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment TCFD and Real Estate Working Groups. Read more
In addition to his work with asset owners and managers, Ian has worked with several climate change focused NGOs, including focusing on providing capacity support and assistance to Small Island Pacific Nations through the UNFCCC Climate Change Conference.
Ian holds Bachelors of Laws (Honours) and Civil Engineering (Honours) from Monash University and is presently completing an MBA from the University of Sydney. Read less

Dr Amanda Rischbieth AM
ESG, Climate and Health advisor
Amanda has been a Visiting Scientist at Harvard Chan School of Public Health from 2017-2022 after being competitively selected as one of 40 global leaders as a Harvard Advanced Leadership Fellow in 2017. She is a member of the global Advisory Council for the Harvard Business School Impact-Weighted Accounts Project. Read more
Amanda chairs the National Blood Authority and is a Non-Executive Director of Duxton Farms (ASX:DBF). She has over twenty-two years of Non-Executive Director experience and was a CEO of a leading health organisation for 6 years. Amanda is an Advisory Board member for the CEG Group.
Amanda’s board and company advisory work focuses on sustainability (upskilling, risk, strategy, reporting), governance, and health. She founded ESG as a Service, and is a senior adviser on Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) capability to PwC.
She received a Member of the Order of Australia award for services to publica health and governance. Amanda is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Adelaide, a member of Chief Executive Women and International Women’s Forum Australia, and a former Telstra Business Women’s Award Finalist. Amanda has been an AICD Faculty member for over 15 years on their flagship Company Directors Course.
Amanda’s PhD in 2007 focused on intensive care decision-support systems and earlier in her career she established and co-led an Intensive Care Unit for ten years. In 2018 she joined the Hands-On group going to Sri Lanka, fitting 247 prosthetic hands to landmine victims. Read less

Nick Lagonik
Developing Technologies and Clean Alternative Fuel advisor
Nick Lagonik has over 40 years of experience in the senior management roles in large scale Oil & Gas companies in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. He has a proven record of success in the operation, maintenance and management of complex, high value assets. Read more
More recently as a consultant, he has been involved in due diligence studies for asset acquisitions and the subsequent integration of these assets into company portfolios. In addition, he is currently providing independent assurance services to support the effective delivery of large scale renewable projects in Eastern Australia.
Nick has a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering (Honours) from Adelaide University and is also a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (FIChemE). Read less
