Circular Energy Group celebrates women’s achievement and supporting women in business by attending the International Women’s Day Luncheon held by Business SA at the Adelaide Oval on 8 March 2023. This massive event was attended by 710 women from various industry with two main speakers:
- Genevieve Rueger – Juggled motherhood while serving in the Australian Defence Force for 22 years, piloting a Black Hawk Helicopter, a member of the Counter Terrorism Regiment, deployment everywhere, including East Timor (2006) and Afghanistan (2009). She is now a qualified firefighter for the Metropolitan Fire Service in Adelaide.
- Linda Williams – Deputy Commissioner Williams is South Australia’s highest-ever ranking female police officer, with a 37-year history in the force starting as a cadet at age 17.
